This week, from Monday to Wednesday, Barcelona (Spain) hosted HiPEAC 2025, bringing together experts and professionals in artificial intelligence and edge computing for three days to explore the latest trends in these fields. At dAIEDGE, we had the privilege of being part of this exciting event, contributing with our key initiatives and activities.
- Two highly successful workshops
Our participation was highlighted by the organisation of two high-level workshops:
- Excellence in AI and Edge Computing: This workshop showcased how the convergence of AI and edge computing represents a new era of technological advancements, where the immediacy of data processing and the sophistication of AI algorithms give rise to innovative products and services. We explored the boundaries of the synergy between AI and edge computing, focusing on the development of scalable and robust AI systems.
- Charting the future: Addressed how edge AI technologies refer to a transformative AI approach that combines IoT and edge computing
- Accelerated Machine Learning (AccML): This workshop brought together researchers and professionals working on computing systems for machine learning and using machine learning to build better computing systems.
Both workshops were an outstanding success, thanks to the participation of notable figures such as Miguel de Prado, Jean-Marc Bonnefous, and Mhd Rashed Al Koutayni, among other leading experts. We would like to extend our gratitude to our colleagues and organisers of these workshops, Óscar Déniz and José Cano.
Those who participated in either session will automatically be invited to join the dAIEDGE excellence network and benefit from its resources.
- Networking and collaboration
HiPEAC 2025 also gave us the privilege of engaging with the next generation of innovators through the STEM Student Day. This activity was particularly meaningful, as it allowed us to connect directly with students passionate about technology. Participants in the HiPEAC Passport Challenge were able to learn more about our work at dAIEDGE, from our Open Calls to our efforts to establish ourselves as a European beacon of artificial intelligence.
We sincerely thank all the students and participants who visited our stand.
Our involvement in HiPEAC 2025 extended beyond the workshops and the STEM Student Day. Throughout the three days of the conference, we maximised networking opportunities to strengthen our team relationships and establish new connections within the community.
A heartfelt thank you to the entire HiPEAC team for organising this incredible event.
See you at the next one!
