The dAIEDGE project is bringing edge computing technology to smart cities, with a key focus on improving security. Its use case is based on the development of edge devices that process data locally to create more efficient and secure urban networks.
This use case is primarily aimed at improving the safety of vulnerable users in cities, such as pedestrians, cyclists and drivers. Edge devices monitor in real time, thus enabling, as mentioned above, a quick reaction to risky situations and increasing safety.
In addition to improving safety, the project aims to create value for cities. This would facilitate the adoption of similar solutions in different urban contexts.
