Last week, from 3 to 5 June, dAIEDGE participated in the +Industry 2025 trade fair, held at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre, a key event that brings together the main players in strategic sectors such as artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, Big Data, the Internet of Things and cybersecurity.
During the three days of the event, we shared a stand with one of our consortium partners, the AIR Institute, with whom we collaborate closely within the framework of the project. This alliance allowed us not only to strengthen our presence at the fair, but also to amplify the visibility of our joint initiatives to a diverse and highly specialised audience. The synergy between the two organisations was key to effectively conveying the impact and potential of our actions in the field of distributed and efficient AI in Edge environments.
One of the highlights was the presentation of the upcoming dAIEDGE Open Calls, which will be launched this summer. These calls will offer funding of up to €60,000 per proposal, with the aim of promoting applied research and the development of innovative solutions in artificial intelligence at the Edge. These grants represent an excellent opportunity for researchers, start-ups and technology SMEs interested in contributing to the advancement of more sustainable, distributed and data-driven AI.
In addition, thanks to the support of the AIR Institute, we were able to establish valuable links with representatives from leading international companies such as Thales, Bullhost, Cybertix, Osapiens, Uptek and CEXCO.
At dAIEDGE, we are grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this important event and we reaffirm our commitment to continue promoting technological development and European collaboration in the next-generation AI ecosystem.
