The year 2025 marked a turning point in the evolution, connection, and growth of dAIEDGE. What began as an ambitious initiative to promote AI at the network edge in Europe gradually solidified into a large community where research, innovation, and collaboration converged to address real-world challenges.
Throughout the year, we not only continued to expand but also reinforced our identity as a meeting point for talent, ideas, and opportunities. In this regard, our open calls once again played a fundamental role in this evolution, acting as a gateway for new participants and a catalyst for collaborations. Researchers, startups, universities, and technology centers found in these calls a space to connect, experiment, and develop joint solutions, bringing AI at the network edge closer to its application in real-world contexts.
Beyond specific initiatives, 2025 was, above all, a year of community building. Every workshop, every event, and every interaction contributed to weaving an increasingly robust network across Europe. From technical meetings to international conferences, dAIEDGE was present in the spaces where the future of artificial intelligence was being defined, generating synergies and opening new opportunities for collaboration.

At the same time, we expanded our reach, strengthening our presence through communication and outreach efforts that allowed us to connect with new audiences.
