dAIEDGE's participation in Transfiere26 represented a strategic opportunity to share results and reinforce the project's positioning in one of the main European forums for knowledge transfer and R&D&I. Throughout the event, we presented specific advances and highlighted the impact that the consortium is generating in the field of artificial intelligence at the edge.
One of the highlights was the presentation of the 30 projects selected through our three Open Calls. These calls have enabled startups, SMEs and innovative entities to join the dAIEDGE ecosystem, promoting the experimentation and validation of Edge AI-based solutions in different strategic sectors.
We also unveiled dAIEDGE-VLab, our virtual experimentation laboratory, designed to facilitate the technical validation and benchmarking of solutions under realistic conditions. This environment allows us to evaluate the performance of developments, optimize configurations and accelerate their technological maturity before deployment in operational environments.
At the same time, our colleague Óscar Deniz gave a detailed presentation on the strategic dimension of dAIEDGE and the importance of a consortium made up of 36 partners from 15 European countries, presenting the three strategic use cases we are developing in Europe and demonstrating the potential of Edge AI to transform key sectors of society.
