dAIEDGE’s Impact in February 2025!

This February has been a key month for dAIEDGE, strengthening our presence at strategic events and unlocking new opportunities for collaboration in Edge AI.

  • dAIEDGE at the UK National Edge AI Hub

On 12th February, we attended the UK National Edge AI Hub Conference, held at Imperial College London. This project, supported by an £85 million programme, is designed to enhance data security in Edge AI and safeguard systems against cyber threats. During the event, Jean-Marc Bonnefous introduced dAIEDGE to attendees and explored potential strategic collaborations in data security and decentralised AI models.

  • dAIEDGE at Fitecu!

We also made our presence felt at Fitecu, the International Fair on Innovation and Technology in Care Services, where, alongside the AIR Institute, we highlighted the growing importance of Edge Computing in this sector. The event brought together over 500 participants and 50 exhibitors, providing an ideal platform to share our vision and present our second Open Calls. These calls offer researchers the opportunity to join our network of excellence for seven months, developing their projects within a high-level innovation ecosystem.

  • dAIEDGE 2 Open Call - Prepare a winning proposal with our webinar!

In addition, we have continued promoting our second Open Call through a series of webinars designed to help participants submit successful proposals. Following the success of our first session, on 27th February, we held our second webinar, where Weronika Gąsior and Miguel de Prado shared key insights on how to stand out in the application process and answered live questions. If you haven’t submitted your application yet, there’s still time!

  • Our participation in Future-Ready: On-Demand Solutions with AI, Data, and Robotics

Finally, this month, we played a leading role in Future-Ready: On-Demand Solutions with AI, Data, and Robotics, organised by ADRA and AI on Demand in Brussels. Alongside participating in plenary sessions with European AI leaders, we hosted the workshop "AI at the Edge – Closing the Resourcing Gap | Birds of a Feather", where we discussed strategies for optimising resource use in decentralised networks. Our conclusions on coordination between Networks of Excellence and closing the AI resource gap were presented in a high-level panel discussion.
