Our First Open Calls Come to an End: A Resounding Success Thanks to All of You!

We are pleased to announce that dAIEDGE’s first Open Calls have concluded with impressive participation—over one hundred and fifty researchers and PhD students in Edge AI registered.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who submitted a proposal. We recognise that preparing an application of this nature is no small feat, and we truly value each of the ideas, projects, and solutions you have shared with us.

With registrations now closed, the next step is to review each proposal to ensure it meets the requirements of our call. Only after this preliminary check will the evaluation process begin. Our team of leading experts in the field will focus on three key areas:

  1. Excellence: The ambition, innovation, and robustness of each proposal will be assessed. We’re looking for pioneering ideas that redefine what’s possible in Edge AI.
  2. Impact: Each project’s scalability, market potential, and its environmental and social impact will be central to this evaluation. We aim to ensure the proposed solutions bring real, tangible benefits to the world.
  3. Implementation: We will examine the teams’ expertise and the feasibility of their plans. Bright ideas require solid execution to thrive, and we’re seeking projects with clear, realistic roadmaps.

Once the evaluation process is completed, we will select the ten most promising projects, which will receive the support and funding necessary to bring their ideas to life.

  • New opportunities ahead

For those not selected in this round, we’d like to remind you that this is just the beginning. We’re planning more Open Calls and other participation opportunities in January.

Thank you once again to all participants for your hard work and commitment to the future of Edge AI.

Stay tuned for our upcoming initiatives at dAIEDGE!
