We came together in Modena, Italy, for our 6th and final General Assembly, bringing our consortium together once again to review our latest achievements, discuss our progress and prepare for the final steps of the dAIEDGE journey.
Hosted by UNIMORE, the two-day meeting brought together our partners for a packed programme of technical sessions, strategic discussions and knowledge exchange. We began the first day with WP2, led by DFKI, before moving into WP4, where HES-SO presented Task T4.5 and Deliverable D4.5. We then turned our attention to WP7, with UCLM, HES-SO and ETHZ presenting Tasks T7.2 and T7.3, alongside Deliverables D7.3, D7.4 and D7.5.

The afternoon continued with WP5, presented by INSAIT, covering Deliverables D5.2, D5.4, D5.6 and D5.7. We also had the opportunity to enjoy a Keynote Presentation before bringing the consortium together for a group discussion on the planning of our dAIEDGE Final Event, which will take place on 21–22 October. This was an important moment to start defining how we will bring our results, technologies and achievements to the wider Edge AI community.

The second day started with WP6, with Fraunhofer, HIPERT, VERSES, DLR and UNIMORE presenting Task T6.3 and Deliverables D6.2 and D6.3. This session was followed by a particularly valuable experience outside the meeting room: we visited MASA’s facilities, where we had the chance to see dAIEDGE use cases in action. Being able to see these applications directly provided a great opportunity to connect our research and technological developments with real-world scenarios and tangible applications.
We continued with WP3, led by SINTEF, focusing on Task T3.3 and Deliverable D3.6 – SRIA, allowing us to discuss strategic research priorities and future directions for Edge AI. We then moved into WP1, led by DFKI and the University of Edinburgh, where we reviewed Tasks T1.1, T1.2 and T1.3, together with Deliverables D1.3 and D1.5. The session also included the preparation for our Final Review, helping us align our efforts around this important upcoming milestone.

We closed the technical programe with WP8, presented by IOT-DIH and FundingBox, covering Tasks T8.1, T8.2 and T8.3, as well as Deliverables D8.10 and D8.8. These activities have been instrumental throughout dAIEDGE in communicating our work, engaging our community and supporting the dissemination and exploitation of the knowledge and results generated by the project.
And with that, our 6th and final General Assembly came to an end.
Across these two days in Modena, we reviewed our progress, discussed our achievements, aligned our remaining activities and, above all, had the opportunity to come together as a consortium once again. It was also a chance to reflect on the journey we have shared and on everything we have built together to advance the future of Edge AI.

We would like to extend a very special thank you to UNIMORE for welcoming us to Modena and for the excellent organization and hospitality throughout this final General Assembly. Having the opportunity to celebrate this important milestone together with our partners in Modena made this meeting even more special.
But our journey is not over yet. 21–22 October 2026
We will meet again for the dAIEDGE Innovation Days, where we will bring our community together one last time to showcase the technologies, results, knowledge and impact developed throughout the project.
