Celebrating Four Years of AI Research Excellence at the 4th AI Community Workshop and AIDA Symposium

Last week, on 26-27 June, the Fourth 2024 Community Workshop and AIDA Symposium took place, and at dAIEDGE we are proud to have co-organised this event. The main objective of the workshop was to provide a forum for sharing ideas and best practices, as well as to foster collaboration beyond the NoEs. This event was open to a wider audience, reaching beyond the NoEs community.

The Workshop provided a unique opportunity to explore the achievements of our community in recent years. From significant advances in research to the creation of collaborative networks driving artificial intelligence in the EU, this event was an enriching space for the exchange of ideas and discussion on the future of AI and its impact on society.

On the first day of the event, our coordinator Alain Pagani presented dAIEDGE at the plenary session, and the dAIEDGE team organised a workshop on "Next- Generation Infrastructure Federation: a Virtual Research Lab for Edge AI" with panelists Jean-Marc Bonnefous (BCA), Nuria Pazos (HES-SO) and Miguel de Prado (VERSES).

Key Opportunities Provided by the Workshop

  • Connecting with leading experts from AI4Media, dAIEDGE, ELIAS, ELISE, ELSA, Horizon Enfield, euROBIN project, Humane AI Net, TAILOR Network of Excellence Centres on Trustworthy AI and VISION.
  • Shaping the future of AI by sharing best practices and collaborating on impactful projects that extend beyond the lifetime of NoEs.
  • Gaining valuable insights from discussions and presentations led by the brightest minds in the field, including developments around the on-demand AI platform AIoD and the AIDA International AI PhD Academy.

At dAIEDGE, we can only say thank you all for your participation and contribution, and for making events like this possible!
