Workshop at HiPEAC 2026 - Call for Papers

dAIEDGE is pleased to announce the opening of the Call for Papers for our HiPEAC 2026 workshop entitled ‘Sustainable and Trustworthy Edge AI for Robotics’, which will take place on 28 January 2026 in Kraków, Poland. This full-day event will bring together the European community working on Edge AI with the aim of addressing the emerging challenges that arise when AI systems are increasingly integrated into the physical world.

Today, intelligent systems must operate under stringent demands for latency, security, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance. In this scenario, it becomes crucial to develop architectures and methodologies that enable reliable, sustainable, explainable Edge AI suitable for autonomous robotic processes. Our workshop seeks precisely to open a space for dialogue and collaboration around these needs, promoting solutions that combine technical excellence and social responsibility.

Among the topics of interest, we invite contributions in areas such as:

  • Edge-cloud continuum and distributed intelligence
  • Lightweight models and hardware-aware acceleration
  • Explainable and secure AI for decision-making in robotics
  • Sustainability and energy-efficient learning
  • Continuous, federated, and on-device learning
  • Real-world robotic applications in industrial and social sectors

Key dates

  • Submission of articles: 15 December 2025
  • Notification to authors: 23 December 2025
  • Workshop: 28 January 2026 — HiPEAC 2026, Kraków

We welcome research articles, case studies, position papers and work in progress. The workshop will not have proceedings, allowing authors to retain all publication rights.

This meeting is co-organised by four European Networks of Excellence: dAIEDGE, euROBIN project, ELIAS and Horizon ENFIELD, reinforcing the common vision of a Europe that is a leader in Edge AI and sustainable, safe and reliable robotics.

At dAIEDGE, we encourage the research and professional community to participate and contribute. Let's build together the future of a more efficient, responsible European Edge AI that is prepared for the robotic challenges of tomorrow.
