At dAIEDGE we are pleased to announce the opening of the Call for Papers for the workshop “Sustainable and Trustworthy Edge AI for Robotics”, to be held on 28 January 2026 in Kraków, Poland, as part of HiPEAC 2026. The initiative is being organised by our Project Coordinator, Mohamed Selim, and aims to bring together experts from across Europe who are committed to advancing efficient, secure and reliable Edge AI for the robotic systems of the future.
As robotics becomes more deeply embedded in real-world environments, intelligent systems must make rapid decisions under strict constraints on latency, energy consumption, safety and regulatory compliance. Shifting capabilities from the cloud to the edge introduces new challenges: designing lightweight models capable of running locally; ensuring explainability in critical decisions; maintaining security in dynamic environments; and achieving energy sustainability that enables scalable deployments. Our workshop has been created precisely to address these challenges and to foster a technical discussion that drives responsible, high-quality solutions for the next generation of autonomous robotics.
We invite submissions exploring:
- Architectures and frameworks for Edge AI
- Trustworthy and explainable edge intelligence
- Sustainable and energy-efficient AI
- Learning and adaptation at the edge
- Applications and use cases
- Cross-cutting topics
The submission deadline is 15 December 2025, with author notification on 23 December, ahead of our meeting on 28 January 2026 at HiPEAC. The workshop is organised in collaboration with four European Networks of Excellence: dAIEDGE, euROBIN, ELIAS and ENFIELD.
